GIORGIO GRAESAN Tints are water based alkali resistant liquid tints for colouring interior lime plasters and decorative paints.
Suitable for: creating even well dispersed colour in interior lime plasters and decorative paints.
Colours: of the tints in lime plaster are shown in the charts on the left but these should be used as a guide only as your screen may not show a true representation of the colours. Colour Catalogues containing these colour charts are available to purchase for $10 each which give an accurate representation of the colours. These can be returned for a full refund when you have finished using them.
Application: The tints are available in 2 sizes - 62mls and 750mls - to make tinting of lime plasters and paints accurate and easy. Simply stir them into the product till they are evenly dispersed.
For tinting lime plasters :
- Choose the colour from the top row of the colour charts on the left. For Example GF.
- Choose the strength from the rows 1 (full strength), 2 (3/4 strength), 3 (1/2 strength), or 4 (1/4 strength)
- 1 requires 93.75ml /kg
- 2 requires 31.25ml/kg
- 3 requires 7.75ml/kg
- 4 requires 2.58ml/kg
Example 1: Tinting 24kg of Lime plaster to GF 4 you would need 24 x 2.58ml = 62ml
Example 2: Tinting 24kg of Lime plaster to GF 3 you would need 24 x 7.75ml = 2 x 62ml
Example 3: Tinting 8kg of lime plaster to GF 1 you would need 8 x 93.75ml = 750ml
Example 4: Tinting 24kg of lime plaster to GF 1 you would need 24 x 93.75 = 3 x 750ml

- 1(2) requires 150.0ml/L
- 2(3) requires 50ml/L
- 3(4) requires 12.4ml/
- 4(5) requires 4ml/L
Example 1: Tinting 5L of Gioia to GF 2(the first row on Gioia Colour Chart) you would need 5 x 150ml = 750ml
Example 2:Tinting 5L of Gioia to ZD 5(the forth row in Gioia Colour Chart) you would need 5 x 4ml = 20ml
Example 3: Tinting 5L of Oro to ZD 1(the first row in Oro Colour Chart) you would need 5 x 150ml = 750ml
Example 4: Tinting 5L of Oro to ZD 3(the third row in Oro Colour Chart) you would need 5 x 12.4ml = 62ml
